What the warranty covers
Every service carries two warranties that work together. The manufacturer product warranty — passed through to you on the strength of our installer certification — covers the film or coating material itself for the period the manufacturer specifies. The Masilar install workmanship warranty covers the quality of our installation: edges, preparation, application, contamination. The two have different durations because they cover different things.
Every appointment is documented with pre-, mid-, and post-install photographs. These photographs establish the baseline that lets us determine, in any later claim, whether an issue is a product defect (manufacturer's warranty applies) or an install defect (Masilar's workmanship warranty applies).
Both warranties are transferable to a subsequent owner once during their coverage period, provided the vehicle is presented to us for a short re-inspection. There is no fee for the transfer. The one exception is the tint manufacturer's lifetime warranty: it is bound to the original owner and is not transferable — see the tint coverage card above.
What it does not cover
Both warranties exclude damage from causes outside the install itself. The following apply equally to the manufacturer product warranty and the Masilar install workmanship warranty:
- Impact damage from stones, road debris, or collision — the film absorbed the hit as designed; the film is consumable in that scenario
- Damage from automatic car washes with abrasive brushes, harsh alkaline shampoos, or solvent-based detail sprays
- Damage from third-party polishing, machine compounding, or chemical strips performed by another shop after our delivery
- Pre-existing paint condition disclosed in the inspection report and accepted by you at booking
- Environmental fallout — tree sap, bird droppings, fuel spillage, industrial fallout — left on the surface for longer than 72 hours without rinse
Care that keeps the cover valid
To keep the warranty valid, please follow these light-touch guidelines:
- Wait 14 days before the first full wash after PPF or ceramic coating
- Hand wash with pH-neutral shampoo and two clean mitts
- Avoid abrasive automatic car washes; use a touchless wash if unavoidable
- Rinse off bird droppings, tree sap, and bug residue within the same day
We will give you the full care card at delivery, with product recommendations and a maintenance schedule sized to how often the vehicle is driven.
How to make a claim
Reach out to us with the booking ID, a short description of the issue, and a few photographs. We will schedule a free inspection within five working days of receipt.
If the issue is covered, we will repair or re-install at no charge. If the cause is outside cover, we will say so honestly — and quote you the remediation at our standard rate, with no obligation to accept.

Manufacturer warranty pass-through
Some film and coating manufacturers offer a registered warranty in the customer's own name. Where this is available — XPEL Ultimate Plus and GYEON Quartz coatings, in particular — we register the warranty for you at delivery and the certificate is sent to your email on file. Keep that email; it is your portable proof.
Limits and final word
This warranty does not replace your statutory rights as a consumer under Algerian law. The headline numbers above are the practical cover we stand behind; the law floor underneath them is shorter but always available.
