Terms of Service

A plain-language agreement between you and the studio.

These terms set out what you can expect from Masilar and what we expect from you, from the moment a booking is confirmed until the vehicle leaves the bay. Reading them takes about five minutes.

Effective 01 January 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to every appointment booked through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp, or in person at the studio. By confirming a booking you accept them on behalf of the registered owner of the vehicle. If you are not the owner, please make sure you have the owner's permission to bring the vehicle in for work.

2. Booking and confirmation

A reservation is held the moment you receive a booking ID (format AT-YYMMDD-XXXX). A specialist will call you within two hours of submission to confirm the slot, discuss substrate condition, and finalize the quote.

Slots are held for one hour past the agreed arrival time. After that the slot may be released to allow the next client through.

3. Pricing

When we quote a price, it is in Algerian dinars and includes all materials and labour. It does not include optional add-ons such as additional panels, second-coat upgrades, or interior deep-clean beyond the standard package — these are discussed during the inspection step and added to the quote only with your explicit agreement.

A final invoice is issued at the end of the appointment. We accept cash and bank transfer. We do not accept post-dated cheques.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancellations and reschedules made at least 48 hours before the appointment are no problem; we just need the notice. Inside 48 hours, the reserved slot cannot be reassigned and the materials prepared for your vehicle are already committed — the slot is lost, even though we do not charge a fee for it. Inside 24 hours, or for a no-show, the same applies; repeated short-notice cancellations may affect your availability for future bookings.

We collect no payment at booking and impose no financial penalty for cancellation — the only cost is the slot itself. We will always work with you on genuine emergencies; the policy above is a default, applied with judgement.

5. Vehicle condition on arrival

Please arrive with the vehicle clean enough that we can see what we are working with — a basic exterior wash is enough. If the vehicle requires extra decontamination time we will tell you during inspection and propose a revised quote.

Remove all personal items from the cabin and trunk before drop-off. We are not responsible for valuables left inside.

6. Pre-existing damage

Every vehicle is photographed before work begins. The photographs form part of the booking record and are shared with you on request. Pre-existing defects — stone chips, paint runs, prior repaints, orange-peel — are noted and not corrected unless the booking includes paint correction.

7. Our work, our standard

All installations are performed by hand in a climate-controlled bay. We use only certified materials from the manufacturers listed on the home page (XPEL, 3M, GYEON, LLumar, STEK). We do not use aftermarket or unbranded films, coatings, or polishes.

If, after the appointment, you find an issue with the work, return within seven days and we will reinspect and correct at no charge. See the warranty page for the longer-term cover.

8. Limits of liability

Our liability for any single appointment is limited to the value of the work performed. We are insured for accidental damage to the vehicle while it is in our care; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed rentals, travel costs, or third party claims.

We are not responsible for issues caused by underlying mechanical or electrical faults discovered during disassembly (e.g. trim clips that break on removal due to age-hardened plastic). We will always tell you before touching anything we suspect may fail.

9. Photography and portfolio use

We may photograph the finished vehicle for our portfolio and social channels. Number plates and any owner-identifying detail are obscured before publication. If you would rather we did not photograph the vehicle at all, please tell us at drop-off — there is no charge for opting out.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us directly is to be brought before the courts of Sétif.

11. Contact
